What information NutshellCrypto collects, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NutshellCrypto (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit https://nutshellcrypto.com. It should be read together with our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://nutshellcrypto.com. You can reach us at admin@nutshellcrypto.com.
Comments
Comments are currently turned off on this site, so we do not collect comment data at the moment. If we turn comments on again in the future, the following applies:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
Visitors who simply read the site are not normally given cookies by us. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies this website can set and how to control them. In summary:
If you leave a comment on our site (when comments are enabled) you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Services this website uses
Like most websites, NutshellCrypto relies on a few tools to run. As of the date above, these are:
- Web hosting. Our hosting provider stores the website and processes the technical data every visit involves (such as your IP address, browser user agent, the pages requested and the time of the request), including in server logs.
- Google Fonts. Our theme (GeneratePress) loads the Manrope font from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser downloads the font, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google Fonts does not set cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Gravatar. Author profile pictures on articles and author pages are loaded from Gravatar (secure.gravatar.com), a service run by Automattic, so your browser sends your IP address to Gravatar when those images load. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
- WordPress emoji. If your browser cannot display emoji itself, WordPress may load emoji images from WordPress.org (s.w.org), which then receives your IP address.
- Rank Math SEO. Adds search-engine information (titles, descriptions, sitemaps and structured data) to our pages. We have not enabled any visitor tracking code through it.
- SpeedyCache. Stores ready-made copies of our pages so they load faster. It does not collect personal data about readers.
- Imunify Security and Loginizer. Security tools that protect the site from malware, spam and attacks. To do this they may process IP addresses, browser user agents and the addresses of requested pages, and Loginizer records the IP address of failed login attempts so it can block brute-force attacks.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising services on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy first.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything else you choose to put in the message. We use it to read and reply to your message, and to follow up on tips or corrections you send.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
The service providers described in “Services this website uses” process some data on our behalf or when your browser loads their content.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Security logs and server logs are kept according to the retention settings of our security tools and our hosting provider.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To make a request, email admin@nutshellcrypto.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have other rights under local data protection law.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Fonts, emoji images and author pictures may be loaded from Google, WordPress.org and Gravatar as described above, which means your IP address is sent to those providers, who may process it outside your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
